Administrative Staff

Christy MacIsaac has worked for Canon Hill doing both small animal and equine duties for 14 years. She currently is our lead Equine Technician and Administrator. She handles our equine billing, writes health certificates and deals with the Coggins blood tests that come in. Prior to joining us, she was a biology major at W & J and worked as a massage therapist. In addition to this, for 30 years, she raced Standardbred horses, including at the Meadows for the Spur Racing Team.   

Steve grew up in the Mon Valley and attended California University of PA where he earned a B.A. in Economics. He later attended West Virginia University where he earned a M.B.A. He left the Pittsburgh region several decades ago, but never lost the dream to return to the Pittsburgh area one day. After spending more than 30 years working for hospitals and medical groups in various locations, he returned to the Pittsburgh region to dedicate his skills and energy to Canon Hill Vet Clinic.

My name is Greta Slater, born in new jersey and raised in Ohio. I relocated to Washington PA and currently reside with my husband and 4 rescue dogs on a modest working standardbred horse farm. In my spare time, I enjoy working out, gardening, playing with the dogs, and traveling.
